Designed for everyday use in the field on a wide variety of networks, the TFS-2000™ Series combine a video scope, insertion loss test set and visible light source in one small, handheld unit. Priced very competitively, they are the only OTDRs in their price range with all-in-one capability.

The TFS-2000™ Series OTDRs offer nearly instantaneous boot up time, an optional video scope for inspecting fiber connections and a 2 meter event dead zone that provides resolution typically found in much higher priced OTDRs. Built-in light source and power meter eliminate the need for separately maintained and operated meters while replaceable NiMh batteries reduce the cost of ownership. Trace or tabular results presentation enables user settable thresholds for pass/fail, for ease of use in the field. In addition, the products' PC-based companion software affords greater trace storage and more thorough analysis of results.
Featuring speed, wide dynamic range, an easy to read color display, a rugged package and short dead zone, these light weight, easy-to-use OTDRs are ideal for novice field technicians and seasoned veterans. Used in conjunction with Trilithic’s TFS-301™ power meter and TFS-201™ light source, users can easily perform insertion loss tests and do fast, easy trace analysis and reporting with the supplied software.
TFS-2000™ Series OTDRs are available in dual single mode, dual multimode and quad wavelength configurations: TFS-2225 - Dual wavelength (850/1300 nm); TFS-2250 - Dual wavelength (1310/1550 nm); and TFS-2500 - Quad Wavelength (850/1300/1310/1550 nm).

This Optical Leakage Detector pinpoints energy leaks in fiber optic systems from splices, connectors, breakage or bending, even in bright light and can identify fibers at a fiber length of at least 186 Miles from the laser source.
With a simple sweep over a fiber, it notifies you of a leak both visually and audibly, making leak detection in the field simple and fast. The TFS-FS1 is used for fiber identification, and it's suitable for both long-distance and local testing, such as dead-zone areas or patch panel and enclosure applications where exact pinpointing of a fault is critical and difficult using other troubleshooting methods.
A perfect complement to the TFS-FS1™ Optical Leakage Detector is the TFS-201™ Optical Light Source or TFS-290™ Series Optical Tracer Source.
The TFS-201™ Optical Light Source provides the stability needed to allow more accurate testing with stable source of light on which to base measurements. The TFS-201™ Optical Light Source allows simultaneous operation of both outputs or individual operation with CW, 30 Hz, 500 Hz, or 2 kHz modulation for use with leak detectors or fiber identifiers. The optical light source operates at 1310 nm or 1550 nm with ST, SC and FC adapters.
When used with the Optical Leakage Detector, The TFS-290™ Series Optical Tracer Sources, allows technicians to perform leak detection and long distance optical tracing. The sources provide the specific tone-modulated light output required by the TFS-FS1 and some fiber identifiers.
The TFS-290 Series of tracer sources feature a either a high power +5 dBm or very high power +15 dBm modulated output at 2kHz thereby allowing them to be used as tracer signal generators for use with the TFS-FS1 Optical Leakage Detector and most popular fiber identifiers.
