Versatile System Integration
EASy Custom Messaging™ software is a Windows® based utility that creates customized general or emergency messages for display on cable television, IPTV systems, or broadcast television stations using a Trilithic EASyPLUS™ or EASyCAST™ EAS system. The Custom Messaging application is designed primarily for emergency management personnel to provide quick and descriptive emergency messages (with audio, if desired) to viewers.
 
Once the EASy Custom Messaging software has been installed and configured, the program gives station operators the flexibility to create custom emergency and informational alert messages.
 
Complete Control over Messaging
The EASy Custom Messaging program allows an operator to create and save multiple custom messages, independent of a local primary radio source. This is especially useful for local and community alerts, such as Amber alerts, severe weather warnings, school or business closings, or traffic concerns.
 
Seamless Integration
The EASy Custom Messaging program has been developed with the needs of broadcast television, cable television, and IPTV providers in mind. The program runs on a Windows-based PC or laptop and is used to configure customized local emergency or informational messages on the Trilithic EASy Series EAS encoder/decoders using an Ethernet, telephone, or serial connection.

Warranty

EAS Warranty & Return Service

Trilithic’s warranty policy for Emergency Alert Systems (EAS) Equipment extends for two (2) years from the date of shipment, If covers mistakes or deficiencies in materials and workmanship.

Exclusions from coverage are for any of the following events occurring after the product has

  • Defects or damage resulting from improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect
  • Contact with liquid or extreme humidity, sand or any comparable substance, or extreme heat
  • Use of the product for any use other than those prescribed in the Trilithic operating manual for EAS equipment
  • Damage resulting from service or modifications performed by a person or firm other than Trilithic, In. or those authorized by Trilithic, Inc. to perform such service on EAS equipment, including, but not by way of limitation, any such damage resulting from installation, testing or other adjustments to hardware or software, and damage resulting from the use of accessories or peripherals not authorized by Trilithic, Inc. for use in and with its EAS equipment.

In The Event of Product Failure

If the EAS product is diagnosed as having failed for reasons other than the exclusions listed above, please call 888-895-7629 and request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

All returned merchandise must have the symptom clearly identified in writing, signed by the authorized representative of the sender and attached to the failed product. All returned merchandise must bear the RMA Number clearly marked in large numerals on the outside of the shipping carton.

All such failed products must be shipped to: Trilithic, Inc. 9710 Park Davis Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46235

EAS products returned without an RMA number clearly marked are subject to a twenty percent (20%) processing fee.

Extended Hardware Warranty

Trilithic, Inc. offers an optional EAS warranty period extension of two (2) years on materials and five (5) years on workmanship from the expiration of the original warranty period. This option must be exercised at the time of the original product purchase.
