December 2007

  • Added SNMP support - The 8300 FST can be managed remotely via web browser or SNMP management application. The SNMP management application can read the current date / time, current channel plan, current device mode, etc. The 8300 FST will also issue a status trap every 5 minutes indicating everything is fine or if there is a problem.
  • The 8300 FST SNMP MIB is available to 8300 FST customers by request. (Please contact the factory directly for support)

October 2007

  • DHCP funtionality for web server has been added. DHCP is enabled by setting the static IP addredss to 0.0.0.0.
  • A Reboot capability was added to the web server via a button. This allows a person in the field to reboot t he device using the web page.
  • Added Support for spaces in the channel names.
  • Allowed channel plans to contain up to 189 channels with a maximum of 160 active channels and 29 disabled channels.
