860 DSPi Options
This Installer's analyzer, with internal modem, Ethernet, USB and RS232 connections comes equipped to scan up to 10 selected favorite channels to measure analog level and digital power, reverse spectrum analysis, tilt, QAM Lite (downstream carrier level, MER, pre/post BER) ping (lost packet rate), throughput (modem speed, downstream RX level, signal to noise, and upstream modem power level), and auto test for FCC proof of performance and user defined test limit macros.
The basic unit contains the 5 to 870 MHz Signal Level Meter, protective carrying case, shoulder strap, universal charger 90 - 220 VAC, US plug, extra internally mounted modem battery, and a Users Manual.
The 860 DSPi options are a la carte, but the pre-requisite option is the Power Pack, which must be purchased in order for the instrument to be fitted with other DSPi options.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Power Pack | Adds full 5-870 MHz channel scan and monitoring; C/N; Hum; FM Deviation; Depth of Modulation; CSO/CTB; Forward Sweepless Sweep Balancing; Internet browser. (Pre-requisite for all other 860 DSPi options) |
| Forward SpeedSweep Option FS-1 | The Trilithic SpeedSweep™ System extends the 860 DSPi’s HFC plant maintenance functionality, giving techs the ability to test forward and reverse RF sweep response, in addition to a wide and growing range of signal analysis features. |
| QAM Option QA-2 | Constellation and equalizer display capability |
| Spectrum Analyzer SA-1 | Spectrum analysis, full featured DSP alternative to analog analyzers. |
| Return Sweep Receiver Option SR-1 | Return Sweep Receiver, compatible with the Trilithic 9581 SST, useful for return path balancing and troubleshooting. |
| Return Tester Option VP-1 | Adds RSVP2 Installer's Return Tester functions to the 860, expanded to allow testing of 8 frequencies at once. Compatible with 9581 SST. |
