INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Thursday, June 25, 2009) – Trilithic, a leader in broadband test and measurement solutions is proud to continue the evolution of the 860 DSPi Field Analyzer by being the first to supply an embedded, CableLabs® certified DOCSIS 3.0 modem.

This new D3 option for the 860 DSPi enables a full complement of DOCSIS 3.0 tests, including complete statistical information about each of the bonded signals, including individual downstream receive levels and upstream transmit levels, downstream MER, and pre- and post-FEC BER, and high speed data analysis.

The 860 DSPi is ready to perform network tests to prepare the plant for these services; perform installation tests as the services are rolled out; troubleshoot throughout the network; and perform sweep/maintenance tests before and after the services are deployed.

"We're Proud to be the first to market with this new option." Says Terry Bush, President for Trilithic. "It is a testament to our dedication to the changing needs of the industry and our commitment to give our customers the best field equipment possible."

Trilithic is now quoting for July shipments of 860 DSPi's with the new option. The D3 Option can also be added to any pre-shipped 860 DSPi. As this is a hardware upgrade, units in the field will need to either be returned to the factory, or scheduled for onsite installation.
