Web Designer/Content Manager
Reports To: Director of Marketing and Communications
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for teaming with the Web Developer and Marketing to manage front-end design and content of multiple corporate web sites. Qualified applicant should have strong creative capabilities and a working knowledge of developing and maintaining websites that deliver corporate brand presence and enhance the customer experience online.
3-5 years experience in web based design and internet marketing (your portfolio should reflect this experience), including development, implementation and maintenance of a dynamic website is required. Applicant must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and good organizational skills. 4 year degree preferred.
Experience Desired:
- Understanding of current technologies with the ability to implement these technologies into the design (XHTML, CSS)
- Extensive knowledge of CSS and XHTML standards
- With expert ability to design and write sources code without the help of a WYSIWYG editor.
- Ability to write clean, neat and organized source code
- Ability to create designs that are built with the intent of utilizing CSS as the source for future design modifications.
- Design experience on a variety of operating systems including Mac OS X and Windows Platforms
- Design experience with multiple browser types and knowledge of browser intricacies and (in)compatibility issues.
- Keen understanding of user interface in designing websites
- Strong Experience with Photoshop and Flash
Skills Required:
- Strong creative intuition
- Strong typography, color and layout skills required.
- Knowledge of industry-accepted user-interface standards and guidelines
- Excellent planning, communication and grammatical skills are required
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines with the ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.

Specific Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage and design websites that reflect the corporate brand.
- Analyze and evaluate current front-end GUI design/usability challenges and implement effective design solutions
- Upkeep and development of all content on all sites
- Develop interactive media initiatives
- Maintain Cross-platform and cross browser compatibility
- Proofreading, Q/A, bug reporting, accuracy of product and pricing information
- Work with the SEO and PPC consultants to optimize web content
- Define and manage style guidelines
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
This position requires a Bachelors degree in graphic design, Interactive media or related field or equivalent experience.
Position: Applications Engineer
Reports To: Applications Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
Supports Trilithic Instrument products, customers and sales representatives, with technical training and sales presentation support. In this position you will be providing training on and demonstrations of Trilithic instrumentation products in all aspects of CATV testing and troubleshooting. This position requires the ability to travel between 50 - 70% of the time to both domestic and international locations in support of sales campaigns and product deployments. Public speaking is a key part of the Applications Engineer’s responsibilities and knowledge of how to build and use PowerPoint presentations is a definite plus. When you are in the office you will provide support to Trilithic customers and sales representatives via telephone and over the Internet using our Webex training solution.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in CATV
- BSEET or equivalent in work experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of team intent on providing a high degree of customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
- High degree of overnight travel. Successful candidate will need to meet industry standards for car rental, hotel reservations, credit card qualifications and passport issuance.
Position: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Reports To: Vice-President of Operations
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and document time standards / processes for all manufactured products including Instruments, Filters, Components, EAS and Sub-Systems
- Act as production liaison to Product Engineering on planning and transitional issues related to emerging and developing products in terms of product structure, RoHs compliance, documentation, identification of tools and fixtures , prototype builds, and other issues
- Develop, document, and catalog assembly / test fixtures as required for all manufactured products
- Review and approve all Engineering /ISO documents released to various Production departments
- Review, approve and communicate ECN’s on behalf of various production departments,
- Value Engineering
- Ongoing evaluation of existing processes and fixtures for efficiency improvements,
- Ongoing review of product structure and material content for cost savings and SKU reduction
- Review all documentation packages, products, practices, and processes for manufacturing and cost improvement opportunities.
- Participate in MRB meetings as required
- Work with Purchasing in resolving technical issues with Contract Manufacturers as required
- Evaluate and recommend required (production) capital equipment.
- Assume responsibility for RoHs compliance and maintenance for released products and conversion of non-RoHs products.
- All other special projects and duties as required by management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years progressive experience in manufacturing support, process and fixture design, CAD, problem solving, and product documentation practices in an RF environment.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to utilize software applications such as Excel, Word, Project, and Autocad . Familiarity with Eagleware and other design suites is a plus
- An Engineering Degree is desirable but not required if life experience is adequate
- Demonstrated mechanical and RF aptitude
- Training and /or experience in designing for product manufacturing
- Ability to work cooperatively with all employees and management.
- Working knowledge of MRP and Inventory Control practices
Position: PCB Designer
Reports To: Vice-President of Engineering
Position Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for laying out printed circuit boards for analog, digital and RF circuits.
Requirements
- This position also includes preparation of PCB assembly drawings with bills of materials.
- Applicant should be experienced with layout of high density multilayer and RF circuits.
- Experience with Protel or equivalent PCB layout software and Autocad is desired.
- Qualified applicant should have an advanced technical degree and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
