Trilithic defines a RoHS compliant product to be a product whose materials and components fall within the acceptable limits set out by the RoHS Directive for all of the seven banned substances. (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE and DecaBDE).
Trilithic currently plans to offer instruments in a RoHS compliant version in the late fall of 2006 or early 2007. For products from the filter and component divisions, Trilithic plans to make products available under a new part/model number.
Trilithic currently plans to change part/model numbers only for products from our filter and component divisions. Products from these divisions can now be ordered by adding a –R suffix to the current part/model number. Detailed information can be found here. Products from all other Trilithic divisions will not be changing part/model numbers to indicate RoHS compliance. At the time the product is offered as RoHS compliant, the information will be made readily available to the customer.
