Statement of Plans for Compliance with RoHS and WEEE Directives

Rohs Logo Trilithic, Inc. is a manufacturer of CATV test and measurement equipment, filters, and microwave components located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As such, Trilithic is aware of the RoHS and WEEE Directives and is actively implementing a program to bring our products and processes into compliance by the required effective dates. Our program was launched in August, 2004. Our multi-step program can be summarized as follows:

  • Formation of Implementation team with representation from the following functional areas:
    • Engineering Management
    • Operations Management
    • Purchasing
    • Quality Assurance
  • Collection and analysis of applicable documents and directives
  • Analysis of all material, components, subassemblies, and processes for identification of all hazardous substances currently utilized
  • Determine and locate acceptable alternates to all non-compliant and suspect material and update all applicable documentation to reflect those changes
  • Communication to and monitoring of compliance activities of suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Development of product marking program
  • Location of associate WEEE recycling center within member states and other applicable areas
  • Other activities not detailed above

Trilithic, Inc. is committed to achieving compliance with the applicable directives and plans to begin shipment of compliant product well in advance of the deadlines.
