The EASyNET Compliance Assistant software is designed to maintain and analyze the EAS logs from multiple (currently up to 128) EASy Series* Encoder/Decoders, generating intelligence reports that make up the bulk of the FCC required administration documents for EAS.
It performs complete weekly and monthly analyses of logged events by dialing up each Encoder/Decoder and retrieving logs and setup information. After retrieving logs, the software creates reports, highlighting regulatory failures (failure to comply with FCC regulations) and regulatory successes, as well as indicators of potential failures.
If failures or other possible problems are discovered, a troubleshooting guide is created noting the issues and providing procedures specific to the problem discovered.
Once these reports are created, the software can automatically E-mail the troubleshooting guide to the appropriate people (i.e. troubleshooting tips may be E-mailed to your headend technician while your EAS logs are E-Mailed to a corporate engineer or officer).
The Compliance Assistant software performs all these operations every Sunday, on each and every EASy Series unit, substantially decreasing the time spent maintaining your EAS system.
